At Switch we’re super proud of the fact we’re 100% New Zealand owned and operated. This is a genuine Christchurch operation that started in New Brighton in 2006 and we now operate out of our boutique roastery in Middleton.

You may not know about this, but as well as the Switch roastery, we run three cafés in Christchurch.

Hamish is the founder and vision-haver that brought us all together and built Switch up to what it is today. The journey that brought him into the coffee roasting business is a pretty important part of our company story and culture.

We’ve got an extensive barista training programme to help you get the most out of our coffees. Confident and skilled baristas are the heart of every great café and make for consistently excellent coffee.
