You’re heading out for the great South Island road trip. We love it. And being outside of Christchurch is no excuse for bad coffee, so whether you’re heading to Kaikōura, Nelson, or the deep south, there’ll be an establishment not too far away selling Switch Espresso. And if they’ve got Switch Espresso, that means we’ve helped train their baristas, so you know you’re in for a quality coffee.

Waimakariri : Flick the Bean

This cheeky café is right next to Challenge Waimak near the old Waimakariri bridge, serving muffins, scones, sweet treats and awesome coffee. The perfect first stop to fill the fuel and coffee tanks on your road trip north.

Amberley : Little Vintage Espresso

This cute little spot is an Amberley institution, and the sweet treats are out of this world. Well worth a drive out or a stop on your way north, and you know you’ll be rewarded with excellent Switch coffee for your efforts.

Kaikōura : Flo & Co Café

Enjoy a Switch BB-IV coffee alongside some of the stellar food at this friendly café in a stunning location. Smack bang in the heart of Kaikōura. While you're there, try the espresso martini, we know you'll like it!

Geraldine: House of Hop

They brew their own beer but when it comes to coffee they leave it to the experts – Switch Espresso! Hop into the House of Hop for one for the road (coffee, of course) and six for the fridge.

Nelson : Comida Café & Restaurant

Prego Mediterranean Foods and Comida Café & Restaurant have been running with Switch Espresso for yonks now, and it’s a stonkingly good place to stop if you’re heading up to the sunny tip of the South Island. They sell a cracker range of olive oils, cheeses, pastas and their own special blend of Switch coffee, ‘Nero’, by the bag.
